EMO 2017 Hannover 18th to 23rd September

At the forthcoming EMO Exhibition a number of our principals will be showcasing their new capabilities. Please come along to see the latest developments.

KERN Hall 12 Stand D60

There are 2 machines on display, The KERN MICRO 5 axis machining centre which is linked to an EROWA ERC80 automatic workpiece changer demonstrating Nano precision in volume manufacturing and the New KERN MICRO PRO 5 axis machining centre with a reduced footprint size but with no compromise on capability.

KERN machines can also be seen on the stands of CAD/CAM specialist GO2cam who will be demonstrating new machining strategies on a KERN EVO (Hall 25, Stand B01) while EMUGE FRANKEN will be showing a KERN MICRO demonstrating new tools.

UNION TOOL Hall 3 Stand C13

Launching a new technological website to guide customers with the data to use their endmills to the best capability together with a new European Technical Centre. Live cutting demonstrations can be view at FEHLMANN (Hall 12 – C52), HERMLE (Hall 12 – C36) and YASDA (Hall 12 – A72)

IWATA and ATOM DRILLS Hall 4 Stand B104

IWATA and ATOM DRILLS are sharing a stand and a common theme of drilling holes with the IWATA range of TOGLON drills for hard steel starting at 0.1 mm diameter and the micro drilling capability of ATOM.

HOBE Hall 5 Stand A24

Micro boring tools for a wide variety of materials starting with a boring capability from 0.4 mm diameter. The HOBE range with its unique reference position guarantees a length repositioning of +/-5 μm and a diameter tolerance of +/-2 μm when changing from one tool to another.

AIR TURBINE TECHNOLOGY Hall 12 – Stand E06

Showing capabilities in 3 distinct areas of machining. Machine mounted high speed spindles incorporated with Auto Tool changing with the new 660 spindle with increased power being shown for the first time at EMO. For robot and turning machine applications a complete range of motors and finally for totally manual operations a wide selection of vibration free hand tools with safety brakes.
